About This Cause
Since 1947, Easter Seals Goodwill ND Inc. has provided services for children with disabilities. In 1996, Easter Seals of North Dakota merged with Goodwill Industries to broaden its consumer focus and its mission to include people who are socially and economically disadvantaged, and those with disabilities. Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc. is organized to provide rehabilitation, training, employment services, advocacy, and opportunities for personal growth for people with disabilities or other special needs who experience barriers to employment and/or independent living. Through the skillful use of staff and resources, Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc., in full participation with the people we serve, shall seek to assist persons with disabilities or other special needs to attain the fullest development to which they are entitled. 357,052 service hours were worked on 48,049 visits to serve 459 children, adults, and families throughout our programs The Easter Seals Goodwill ND Inc.’s mission is fulfilled through the collection and sale of donated goods in the Goodwill Retail Stores located throughout North Dakota. The revenue generated from our stores is used to help fund programs that support children, adults, and families with disabilities, provide job training, and employment placement services for people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face employment challenges. Easter Seals Goodwill ND Inc. has six Goodwill stores in North Dakota, located in Minot, Bismarck, Jamestown, Fargo (2), and Grand Forks. In 2024, 66,109 retail donors provided 2.6 million pounds of donations. 1.4 million pounds of product were recycled.
