About This Cause
Ambitious Girls, Inc. was established in 2008 and incorporated in 2011, inspired from our founders “BE Smart! BE Safe! BE Responsible!” platform and teen conference, which began in 2009 based on the importance of education, awareness and prevention of teen pregnancy, HIV/ADIS and juvenile delinquency. Ambitious Girls, Inc. seeks to develop girls into ambitious girls full of themselves in terms of love, confidence, worth, esteem and growth but most important of all the Lord destines them to be. The Ambitious Girls, Inc. vision is to create a strong movement that will inspire girls all over the world. Our core values are Character, Love, Growth, Service and Leadership. Our motto is "All Girls are Ambitious and Every Girl is an Ambitious Girl". Our G.R.O.W program is a leadership and mentoring project, dedicated to mentoring adolescent and teen girls overcome obstacles that prevent them from becoming educated and success driven women. This project began out of the sincere concern for the percentage teen pregnancy, high school drop-out and juvenile delinquency rates. The G.R.O.W program diligently conducts monthly workshops, forums and engagement to assist the girls with gainful insightful knowledge on various topics that relate to daily living tools, useful in making good choices. The program also includes one-on-one mentoring, monthly educational workshops based on job readiness, skill building, planning for higher education, building self-esteem, etiquette, college tours, community service initiatives, yearly retreats and leadership initiatives. Our annual EmpowHERment day is a conference for adolescent and teen girls including activities, special projects, workshops and sessions that prepare each girl to G.R.O.W-“Get Ready to lead Our World!”
