Jeremiah's Place protects children and strengthens families by providing a safe haven of respite, health, renewal, and support for children when their families are experiencing a critical need for childcare.
About This Cause
There are times when all parents can use a helping hand. In those times, Jeremiah's Place, Southwestern PA's only crisis nursery, offers a safe and loving environment for young children, ages 0-6 years in times of family crisis. We provide judgment-free, 24/7 emergency childcare at no cost to families. The mission of Jeremiah's Place is to protect children and strengthen families by providing a safe haven of respite, health, renewal, and support for children and families during times of crisis. We strive to serve as a leading voice for child abuse prevention, thereby transforming the community into a place that is safe, stable, and loving for all children. We provide care to families experiencing medical appointments and emergencies, respite needs, workforce development opportunities and emergencies, homelessness, domestic violence situations, military deployment, court appointments, and unsafe childcare options.
