About This Cause
xHope Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2011 by Rick and Wendi Cross. xHope exists to empower vulnerable children and families across the streets and across the seas by providing hope, love, and support (http://www.xhopemissions.org). Locally, xHope is passionate about serving the most vulnerable children in our community. We are here to come alongside case managers, social workers, school district staff and agencies and organizations to support families of foster/adopt children, kinship/guardianship placements, homeless and unaccompanied youth, teen parents and families facing economic hardship. We strive to remain responsive to ongoing, as well as changing needs and be a source of hope, love and support. We provide essential items and resources to meet immediate needs, as well as opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and outreach events and scholarship opportunities. Internationally, xHope aims to provide immediate relief to orphaned children by welcoming them into our children's home, rehabilitating them and reunifying them with biological family. We support children while they are placed in Redeemer House, as well as when they are settled back with family. Our education program provides these children a way to break the cycle of poverty. With this in our mind, xHope is committed to leading the way in orphan care by empowering our families with business grants, education, and job opportunities.
