NEPALI YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Mission Statement

Nepali Youth Development Project (NYDP) is a young, growing non-profit organization based in Seattle, WA, providing services primarily in Chitwan District, Nepal. NYDP believes in empowering girls, promoting gender equality, and alleviating poverty through girls’ education. Working with in-country volunteers, NYDP identifies motivated girls in need of support, and provides scholarships and support to help them achieve the highest level of education they desire. NYDP currently supports thirteen young women in post-secondary education, and plans to expand its program both geographically and in the number of girls it supports.
