Mission Statement
Pause 4 Paws supports animal rescue programs’ efforts to provide medical care and spay/neuter clinics, save lives by reducing animal euthanasia, raise community awareness of animal welfare issues, and find forever homes for neglected dogs and cats.
About This Cause
Pause 4 Paws financially supports 18 local animal rescue organizations that have saved over 18,000 dogs and cats in Minnesota since our inception four years ago. Each month in Minnesota over 5,000 dogs and cats are euthanized, and over 5 million are euthanized annually in the United States. Many others continue to live in pain and abuse. This can change with your support. Pause 4 Paws is an all-volunteer organization; the donations we receive directly touch the animals. With financial assistance from Pause 4 Paws, these organizations will be able to continue their work rescuing abused and neglected dogs and cats and providing an infrastructure of support. This work includes: • Emergency medical care to fix broken bones and other damage caused by neglect and abuse; • Rescuing animals from Animal Control, hoarding, or abusive situations and providing them with immediate medical and foster care; • Sourcing “Forever Homes” for animals to be continuously loved and cared for the rest of their life; • Hosting spay/neuter clinics to reduce homeless animal populations and our beneficiaries have spay/neutered over 10,000 cats and dogs since our inception.
