Rockstar Canine Rescue & Sanctuary (RCRS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, all-breed Phoenix dog rescue that was founded in 2010. Determined to change the image of rescue forever, RCRS’s mission became to transform each dog it intakes, from abused and neglected victim to “ROCKSTAR”, by providing realistic, quality rescuing, for the term of every dog they save's life and changing the image of rescue by utilizing an entirely new approach through their rockin’ attitude and mindset
About This Cause
No, we're not rescuing Rock Stars... (Although some could use it). Rockstar Canine Rescue & Sanctuary (RCRS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, all-breed Phoenix dog rescue that was founded in 2010. Determined to change the image of rescue forever, RCRS’s mission became to transform each dog it intakes, from abused and neglected victim to “ROCKSTAR”, by providing realistic, quality rescuing, for the term of every dog they save's life and changing the image of rescue by utilizing an entirely new approach through their rockin’ attitude and mindset We specialize in hard-to-adopt cases; psychologically traumatized, hoarded, elderly and sick or injured dogs. We believe in quality, not quantity when it comes to saving lives. We provide a small, individualized atmosphere, where each and every dog becomes family. This has proven vital in evaluating and preparing each dog for their new home and life! We're in it for the long-term, the whole life of every dog we rescue. We've utilized social media to create a group page for all of our past adopters to post pictures and share stories of their Rockstar dogs. We have annual reunions where past adopters return with their new family members and the experience of seeing them adjusted, happy and even remembering us, is what motivates us to continue doing what we do every day! Rockstar isn't just a cool name, it's a lifestyle, and we're changing the game in dog rescue for us and them!
