About This Cause
Every two minutes around the world, a life is being bought and sold. In the United States, an estimated 199,000 of those lives per year are children, and the average age of first victimization is 12 years old. A gift as low as $5 will provide one night of emergency shelter for one survivor of sexual exploitation, and open the door to the medical care, mental health therapy, and advocacy that they need. At REST we believe that everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a life free from exploitation. We offer an individualized, trauma-informed continuum of care for survivors of sex trafficking. And it is because of YOU that we can offer those services- THANK YOU!
