Mission Statement

ACCT Philly is the Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia. We are an open intake animal shelter contracted by the city of Philadelphia to carry out animal control services.

About This Cause

ACCT Philly receives over 19,000 animals annually, and in the past year achieved an 86% lifesaving rate. Through work with our volunteers, rescue partners, and community organizations, we are hoping to achieve no-kill status for the city of Philadelphia. ACCT helps to rescue, treat, and find homes for homeless and at-risk animals in the city of Philadelphia. We also offer surrender prevention resources to pet owners, such as our food pantry and access to various medical and training resources.
