Mission Statement
Feeding Medina County's mission is to educate, engage, and lead our community in creating an environment where no one goes hungry. We nourish our community with essential programs that put food on the table for children, families, and seniors who are at risk of hunger.
About This Cause
Feeding Medina County is the largest food pantry in Medina County, Ohio. We offer five core programs to combat hunger in Medina County. We provide Weekender Bags for children in all public schools, provide monthly Staples for Seniors and Disabled Adults in low-income housing facilities, host community-wide food distributions four times each month, host an on-site Food Pantry five days a week from our office, and provide free transport of food from our regional food bank to other food pantries in Medina County. All of our programs exist to ensure that residents of our county have access to food, and to ease the physical, mental, and socio-emotional stressors of hunger and food insecurity.
