Mission Statement
Pet Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of homeless dogs. Our vision is a day when pets of all kinds can escape their previous lives of abuse or neglect and live in homes where they can provide their new family with unconditional love and be given the same in return. It is a grim fact that nearly 60% of dogs that enter shelters are euthanized. This statistic may be even higher in rural shelters. Therefore our primary focus is rescuing homeless pets from rural shelters who are often understaffed, underfunded and don’t have the resources to find homes for all the pets in their facility. Of course, we also help the pets in need at our local shelters and within the community.
