Mission Statement
We are primarily police officers, fire fighters, emergency workers and a few civilians who rescue dogs from one of the most dangerous & blighted areas of Los Angeles. Our mission is to take these homeless strays "from the streets to the sheets"!
About This Cause
GRFF was founded by an LAPD Sargeant who saw a need for an organized way to help the hundreds of stray dogs roaming the streets of south LA. Many of these dogs were in need of medical attention ranging from acute flea/mange control to broken bones, untreated wounds, starvation and more...Today GRFF has a core volunteer work force and foster program whose members transport dogs to their doctor visits, training, foster homes, etc. and do whatever it takes to get dogs off the streets & into permanent loving homes.
