Western Wildlife Outreach provides community services in the form of science-based information/education on the ecology, biology and behavior of large carnivores of the Pacific Northwest - black bear, grizzly bear, gray wolf and cougar - along with the steps people can take to coexist with them.

About This Cause

Western Wildlife Outreach is an ecology-based nonprofit outreach and education organization located in Washington state, USA. WWO's primary function is to help build successful wildlife-wise communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. WWO provides information about the natural history of our regions four large carnivores - gray wolves, black bears, grizzly bears and cougars. We use science-based information to provide people with the knowledge and tools for successfully coexisting with them.
