Mission Statement
We are a grass roots equine rescue that firmly believes that every horse deserves a second chance at life.
About This Cause
Ranch Critters was established in 2012 and has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed over 100 horses. We firmly believe that each horse deserves a safe environment to recover physically, emotionally and mentally from past lives that were so much less than they deserve. We offer Open Corral each Saturday where new visitors as well as our safety certified volunteers work with each horse as well as helping with ranch chores. Our adoption program has been extremely successful because we take great pride in making sure that it is a fit for both horse and human. Each potential new owner is required to spend time developing a relationship with the horse. We also spend considerable time training both horse and their human to make sure that once they are both settled in their new home together that they are able to continue the relationship.
