Mission Statement
Tutors Without Borders also known as “Tuwbo’’was founded in 2011 to coordinating educational activities to help students facing learning disabilities including offering free early financial literacy education to youths between 8 and 17 years in Detroit and Metropolitan.
About This Cause
Our Non-profit corporation helps to promote critical thinking ability in students facing learning disabilities. We help to enhance youths ability to read and write. Also, Tuwbo offers lessons to enhance students ability to understand basic Math concepts. We equally offer students free financial literacy classes in which we teach students the importance of early savings, wise and intelligent spending, and the different investment vehicles. Our goal of teaching financial literacy education is to enable students to become valuable assets to themselves, families and their communities. In addition, we offer free foreign language courses in Spanish and French to encourage and enhance students ability to write, read and speak a foreign language.
