Mission Statement
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by two veterinarians dedicated to making spay/neuter and veterinary wellness services accessible and affordable to all in need regardless of income or place of residence. Through our rescue and adoption services we will help find homes for those who need them while promoting responsible pet ownership through outreach and education.
About This Cause
Every year, close to 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters in the US due to overpopulation. Last year 23,490 were euthanized in New Jersey alone. Many are the result of irresponsible breeding by individuals and puppy mills. However, others are pets turned into shelters because their owners can no longer afford to care for them. Our goal is to raise $200,000 through donations and grants, to establish a veterinary clinic in northern New Jersey in which to carry out our mission. Our objective is to keep animals in their homes and out of shelters. Our Vision is to lead responsibly with compassion and dependability, to inspire the trust and respect of our clients, donors, employees, volunteers, and friends. To extend our services beyond spaying/neutering and become the first full service nonprofit veterinary hospital in New Jersey. As such, develop our financial screening process to ensure that resources go to those who need them most. To cultivate partnerships with other animal rescue organizations and veterinarians to maximize the number of adoptions and ensure the best possible health of our pets. As a final result, to decrease the number of animals surrendered into shelters. We envision a legacy of educated and responsible pet owners.
