The Mission of The Australian Community is to connect our members through social, professional and charitable initiatives.
About This Cause
The Australian Community Inc. is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. We provide proactive education to expatriates unfamiliar with issues on legal and taxation matters by providing seminars, and social and professional events in public venues, as well as utilizing social media channels and the corporation’s website to provide facts, statistics, and other related data. Our programs include outreach events to support endeavors that broaden the cultural relationships between Australia and the United States, raise social consciousness, and hold fundraising events in order to provide assistance to individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, or religion. Further, through our Education, Disaster Relief, Volunteer, and Multimedia programs, we address important issues such as Immigration, Taxation, and Climate Change.
