Mission Statement
1. Expose a diverse mix of youth to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) topics/careers through aviation, robotics and boating/marine ecology. 2. Improve the relationship between youth and first responders including law enforcement, through a variety of community events 3. Work in partnership with the Beaufort County Health Department and the academic community to educate youth about the importance of fitness, diet and nutrition 4. Develop good life-skills
About This Cause
The mission of the Inner Banks STEM Center is to improve the relationship, trust and communication between law enforcement officials, at-risk youth of all gender, ethnic, religious backgrounds and the community while educating youth to the importance of STEM courses and interacting with other community service organizations that work with youth to leverage resources.
