Mission Statement
Love Never Fails exists to empower all people to express and experience our best sense of humanity. We do this by restoring, educating, and protecting survivors of human trafficking and their community.
About This Cause
Over the last 12 years, we’ve provided safe housing to 200+ women, men and children. We currently operate 7 homes with 47 beds! Last year, we graduated 69 students from our ITbiz tech academy! In 2020 we opened a home for girls ages 13-17 who were escaping from human trafficking. Our goal in opening this home is to use art, love, and trauma-informed care to provide safety, healing, and family reunification. We believe this is the best way to avoid foster care and keep families together after a horribly traumatic experience such as human trafficking. In 2020 we also open a home for homeless or trafficked Transitional Aged men (18-24) and families. The goal in opening this home was to provide men enrolled in our IT Academy a safe place for healing and financial sustainability. Our program teaches members about savings, investments, and homeownership. We also provide human trafficking prevention education to school-aged children throughout California as well as Utah, Nevada, Georgia and Texas, as part of our PROTECT collaborative with 3 Strands Global and Frederick Douglass Family Initiative. Over the last 4 years, our collaborative has educated over 800k students in 7 states and 3 different countries! We’ve also created a bridge between the IT community and the underserved with our IT Biz Academy. We are a California Certified CyberSecurity and Networking Pre-Apprenticeship program, Cisco Networking Academy, Department of Rehabilitation approved vendor and CalJOBS Training provider. Over the last year, we enrolled 300 students in our program and they are successfully completing Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and Agile training and certifications. 80% of our first cohort graduates obtained paid internships/apprenticeships as well as sustainable employment and we have a formal agreement with Junior Colleges and Adults Schools such as San Francisco City College, Merritt College, Oakland Adult and Career Education and others to provide paid internships and apprenticeships making between $15 and $41 per hour. We have offices throughout Northern California in Dublin, Hayward, Oakland, San Francisco, San Mateo, San Jose, Antioch, and we provide our IT Biz classes over distance learning platforms across the nation.
