Mission Statement
American Maltese Association Rescue is a 501c3 organization staffed entirely by volunteers, and financed purely through donations. We do not have a sanctuary, so all our rescue dogs go directly into foster homes.
About This Cause
American Maltese Association Rescue fills the gap between unwanted Maltese and Adoptive Homes. We save dogs from shelters, found dogs, owner surrenders, puppy mills, and backyard breeders. All our rescues go directly into a loving foster home, where all their medical needs will be addressed. Once they are healthy we seek the perfect Forever Home for them. We usually receive multiple applications for each of our dogs. Since we are volunteers, so all donations go directly to helping the dogs. Donations and foster homes are always needed.
