About This Cause

Since its creation in 2000, Allegro has grown from one youth choir of 38 singers, to 250 singers in six ensembles. Drawn from across the Kansas City metro area, our talented youth come from private, public and home-schooled environments. Heralded as "the voice of angels" by the Kansas City Star, Allegro Choirs delight audience members each year - locally, nationally and abroad - with its varied repertoire and heartfelt singing. Known for connecting with its audiences, this upbeat youth choir program enriches, inspires and transforms the lives of those youth involved through learning, sharing and performing beautiful music.
