Mission Statement
The mission of the CIRC is to provide sustainable housing and enhance the lives of older adults and families. CIRC works to ensure that low to moderate income individuals avoid homelessness and remain independent and healthy. Our vision is that all older adults and families have access to safe, secure, affordable housing so they can thrive.
About This Cause
In January 2022, CIRC was established to help more older adults and those living in multi-generational communities sustain high-quality housing, wellness, and social connection regardless of income. CIRC reflects an integration of Sustainable Housing for Ageless Generations (SHAG), the Community Life Foundation (CLF), and Downtown Action to Save Housing (DASH). Together these organizations have formed CIRC, which provides a wide range of support and services to nearly 7,000 older adult and family residents, many of whom are low- and moderate-income. CIRC serves four partner organizations who provide independent senior and multi-generational housing: SHAG, Fairfield Residential, Greystar’s Destinations Lynnwood community and most recently, DASH (Downtown Action to Save Housing). We have an unwavering commitment to ensure that residents have access to a safe and stable living environment with supportive services – empowering them to avoid homelessness, and promote their independence, health, and wellness.
