About This Cause

The Phyo Nyi Nyi Kyaw Memorial Foundation, or PN2K, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, set up in memory of an MIT alum and friend who died in a bicycle accident on the corner of Mass Ave. and Vassar St. on Dec 27, 2011. We bring together the cycling community, raise awareness on street safety, and work on implementing tangible solutions to make cyclists safer on the streets. Joining us is easy. We have a vast array of volunteer opportunities and ways to "get involved" which you can read more about on our website. If you're in the area, volunteer at one of our bike safety events (we have music, free food, and fun) and join one of our social bike rides or exec planning/training meetings. We partner with businesses and nonprofits in the community to make cycling gear more accessible for all, and to make bike education and advocacy more widespread. We are continuously growing - come and grow with us.
