Mission Statement
Sai Global Mission is a non-profit organization 501(c) (3). We are a for impact organization focussed on uplifting and transforming the lives of underserved communities, regardless of race, religion, gender, age, caste, creed, economic status, sexual orientation, or country of origin. Through our unwavering commitment, we strive to provide access to essential healthcare, education, nutrition, and rural care services, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals. Globally, we provide free life-saving heart surgeries, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of disadvantaged children. SGM also supports pregnant mothers from rural communities with antenatal care to ensure the healthy children are delivered. In India, we focus on equal access to quality holistic education, and nutritious breakfast meals for children from rural communities, ensuring a healthy start and a bright future. The program also provides free medical camps and nutritious meals, clean drinking water to several villages in India, and supports any disaster relief initiatives to help the underprivileged. We aim to bridge rural healthcare disparities by providing scholarships to eligible rural medical students, supporting the World's First Free Rural Medical College. SGM’s shared vision of changing lives and saving lives to underprivileged communities without any discrimination contributes to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive culture within the organization to serve underprivileged individuals and communities without any discrimination. About This Cause
Sai Global Mission (SGM) is a powerhouse of change to create impact, a Non-Profit Organization focused on societal advancement initiatives to uplift rural communities and serve the underserved in the areas of healthcare, education, nutrition & rural care irrespective of race, religion, gender, age, caste, creed, economic status, sexual orientation & country of origin. SGM aims to solve challenges related to health & wellbeing of children and families in rural areas. Some of the problems that we aim to address include: 1. Restoring the fundamental right of every child to have access & equity to healthcare, education & nutrition. 2. Affordability, availability and accessibility to healthcare: Many people from rural areas lack access to quality healthcare, including intervention, healthcare education and preventative services resulting in untreated illnesses and health conditions especially in pregnant mothers and children. Families of children who have congenital heart disease cannot afford heart surgeries. Thus, lack of timely interventions due to affordability and accessibility issues can result in premature death of children. 3. Lack of Quality Education for children due to to poverty and a lack of resources limit their future prospects and perpetuate the cycle of poverty. 4. Malnutrition which can lead micronutrient deficiencies & chronic disease Our Programs: Children's Heart Surgeries; SGM stands unwavering in its commitment to saving the lives of disadvantaged children around the world through free life-saving heart surgeries, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless young souls. It partners with Children’s Heart Hospitals, the Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals, in India, Fiji, Sri Lanka, Nigeria where there are no billing counters. Til date over 28,500+ children’s lives have been saved with a new Gift of Life with its project under the H2H Foundation (Heart to Heart Foundation). Mother & Child Health: To prevent child and maternal mortality, we provide pregnant mothers from rural backgrounds with antenatal care, education, and nutritious supplements, ensuring a healthy pregnancy and the birth of healthy children. We believe in the power of healthy mothers to lead to healthy children. Our early detection and screening initiatives in rural schools prevent the onset of congenital heart disease and offer timely interventions. Education: Education is the key to empowerment, and we're proud to provide equal opportunities to over 5,000 boys and girls from rural communities, granting them access to high-quality holistic education. Many of these children are first generation literates hailing from very backwards and downtrodden villages. Students receive education from 6th grade all the way to university degrees. Our proudest moments are educating the girl child who otherwise would have been married off and been stuck in the cycle of poverty never having an opportunity for life. Thus, we believe in the power of transforming communities. Nutrition: Partnering with the Annapoorna Trust, we offer nourishing meals to more than 30,00,000 school-going children across 35,000+ schools in 23 states and 4 Union Territories in India. Our goal is to ensure that no child goes to school hungry, giving every child a healthy start. Since inception more than 30,00,000 children benefited with: improved health benchmarks, increased attention and attendance in schools, and improved grades. Together we strive to nurture school going children in rural India and needy sections of society. Rural Care - Serve A Village SAI Global Mission's impact reverberates across countless villages in India as it orchestrates medical camps, providing medical care, nutritious meals and clean drinking water to several villagers, benefiting over 2 million people. In addition, SGM supports any disaster relief initiatives to help the underprivileged. Medical Education With visionary resolve, the foundation strives to bridge the healthcare disparities and uplift rural communities. The Foundation also supports the medical education of deserving students hailing from rural areas. SAI Global Mission becomes a catalyst for change, supporting the medical education of deserving students who hail from these very communities, empowering them to rewrite their own destinies, through India’s First Free Rural Medical College.
