Mission Statement
The mission of the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation is to engage youth, educators, and the general public to promote an understanding of the vital importance of agriculture in the lives of all Nebraskans.
About This Cause
Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation began in the Fall of 2013. We use our focus on philanthropy to help develop agricultural awareness throughout Nebraska, build consumer knowledge on their sources of food, fiber and fuel and fund scholarship and leadership opportunities in agriculture. Nebraska Farm Bureau established a Disaster Relief Fund at the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation to provide emergency aid to Nebraska farmers, ranchers, and rural communities affected by tornadoes in 2014 and blizzards and flooding in March 2019. Priority is given to efforts to restore health and safety in rural communities and to farm and ranch households that have been damaged or displaced by the natural disaster. 100% of the disaster relief donations will be distributed to Nebraska farmers, ranchers, and rural communities affected.
