Mission Statement
Project Scientist’s mission is to create a just world by empowering girls from underserved communities to thrive as innovators and disruptors in STEM. Through a joyful, girl-centered STEM ecosystem, we aim to inspire participants to secure meaningful STEM roles, pursue academic excellence in STEM, and lead in industry innovation.
About This Cause
Project Scientist is an education nonprofit delivering high-quality experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) to underserved and marginalized girls* ages 4-18. We deliver summer and after-school programs in partnership with local schools, school districts, nonprofit organizations and STEM Companies. *While we focus on those who identify as girls, Project Scientist is dedicated to serving children of all gender identities and expressions.
