About This Cause
Togo Community Organization of Oregon (TOGO CORE) is 501 (c) (3), a nonprofit charitable public trust established in 2013. The mission of Togo Core is to build a vibrant and prosperous community by providing African culturally appropriate support to communities, to build leadership, raise awareness, and build bridges on health, education, economic, safety, and cultural issues. TOGO CORE strives to provide a culturally supportive and nurturing environment that builds the capacity of Togo children, youth, and families in Oregon to help them reach their highest potential through charitable support, guidance, and educational opportunities. TOGO CORE’s programs and activities help children and families to adapt to the American culture while maintaining and enhancing the family and community values important to them.
