Mission Statement
Our mission is to coach and empower America's military veterans, their spouses & caregivers, to achieve success at home, at work, and in the community. Whether it is in finding employment, starting new businesses, completing their educations, improving personal relationships, assessing for new vocations, or locating health care to fully meet their needs, our Stand Beside Them (SBT) certified professional coaches are here to help veterans transition to civilian life. We work with them for a successful reintegration in all environments: work, family, and the community.
About This Cause
Our 501c3 non-profit Stand Beside Them (SBT) provides free one-on-one professional coaching (life, career, small business development, and health/wellness) to military veterans and their spouses/caregivers. Sessions are given by certified coaches and take place either in-person, or through videochat or telephone contact. Our experienced coaches are diverse and come from all fields of industry, academia. Many have had prior careers in HR and know how to help veterans succeed in the job hunting process. Forty of our coaches come from the military so they are fully aware of the obstacles many veterans run up against during the transition period. Caregivers and spouses also benefit greatly from our coaching.
