Mission Statement
At Lily's Place, our mission is to provide medical care to infants suffering from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and offer non-judgmental support, education and counseling services to families and caregivers and our community. Together we can create healthier families and help end the cycle of addiction.
About This Cause
In order to serve the tiniest of those affected by the opioid epidemic, Lily's Place opened its doors in October 2014 as the first Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Center in the United States. Babies born with NAS require specialized care. At Lily's Place, we strive to make them as comfortable as possible while going through the weaning process. Lily's Place provides observational, therapeutic and pharmacological care to infants suffering from prenatal drug exposure. We use proven therapeutic handling methods and the latest weaning techniques to ease withdrawal symptoms. Lily's Place also recognizes that to ensure a healthy future for the infants, it's imperative help the family as well. We do this through case management, peer recovery support and counseling. Additionally, to create a healthy community, we expanded our reach to include anyone in our community who needs these services. We also recognize that expanding our services to include prevention is an integral part of our vision of a healthy community. Serving children and adults in the community by teaching them healthy coping skills is an important step in preventing the initial substance use. We are grateful for our unique position in the community and are humbly dedicated to the people we serve.
