Mission Statement
Theatre Raleigh is a locally produced professional theatre company known for intimate theatre that engages our community and takes the responsibility of leading in growth and diversity seriously. Our work centers around creating high quality theatrical experiences that are accessible to all. We are committed to building a community of diverse artists and arts-supporters here in the Triangle, to championing the development of new works, and to cultivating the next generation of theatre audiences through ongoing opportunities for engagement.
About This Cause
Every season, Theatre Raleigh is committed to bringing productions to the stage that tell stories of underrepresented voices; we will host conversations around these productions in community centers, public libraries, educational institutions as well as after performances. As our patrons have come to know, we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are continuously working with our staff and Board of Directors to update the organization’s mission and visions to include that initiative
