Mission Statement
We Care Charity, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide food and clothing to individuals and families in our community and beyond.
About This Cause
We Care Charity feeds over 600 people each month in the state of NH.100% of the donated funds go directly to their projects as we have no overhead staff. Everyone, including founder/president and board of directors are on volunteer basis. They do not pay themselves or anyone else. The president and founder is Shefali Kalyani. She and her husband hold a full time day jobs as engineers. Currently they feed 600 adults and children each month. They feed two soup kitchens (Nashua, NH and Portsmouth, NH) and they also feed three Children's homes (Nashua, Dover and Portsmouth, NH). She along with her husband Vinay personally purchase groceries, cooks and serves those in need. They feed children’s homes up to twice a week. They also celebrate birthdays of the children who have no one coming for them. They purchase gifts that the children have requested, card, cake and kids look forward to seeing her. They do their best to stay away from processed and frozen foods. Cooking fresh and healthy meal for teenagers at Children’s home is a constant challenge but they make it happen.
