About This Cause
Friends of Upland Animal Shelter is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded and operated by a group of dedicated volunteers. We are partners with the City of Upland and tasked with the responsibility of shelter operations and adoptions. We do this without receiving any direct funding from the city. We rely on proceeds from our thrift shop, 2nd Chance Thrift Shop, adoption fees and fundraising. In addition to taking care of any stray animals found in the city of Upland, we also act as a rescue and save animals from "high-kill" shelters.
