About This Cause
China Change is an English-language website dedicated to bringing information about human rights, the rule of law, and civil society in China to the rest of the world. We write, translate, and film, and all of our content is original content. We help the rest of the world understand aspects of China’s political landscape that are the most censored and least understood. Our reports and translations are regularly primary sources for, or cited by, major media outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, and The Telegraph (to name a few), and we are often cited in Congressional and other governmental and NGO reports. Our interviews and profiles provide engaging, personal stories of “the change makers of China” -- ordinary citizens from all walks of life who have been aspired to change China for the better. Our website has been cataloged in Columbia University’s human rights website collection.
