About This Cause
Alchemy Skateboarding is founded on the idea that skateboarding is an incredibly positive activity, which naturally builds resilience, creativity, innovation, athleticism, discipline, and a unique understanding of city space. We use this principle to guide us towards a vision of the future where skateboarders are recognized as positive contributors and an integral part of our vibrant community. Our mission is to provide youth opportunities to learn and grow through skateboarding. Our primary demographic is youth ages 16 - 24 in the greater Tacoma, WA area. Our program offerings include an indoor skate park, a for-credit high school skateboarding class, skate lessons and summer skate camps, and a youth leadership program.
