The Crayon Collection mission is to inspire a commitment to environmental consciousness and the infusion of art education in underfunded schools.
About This Cause
By collecting gently-used crayons from kid-friendly restaurants and hotels we intervene in a cycle of waste that has existed for decades. This community-based collection effort supports the environment by redirecting still good crayons to teachers instead of landfills. Since we were founded almost 10 years ago, we have saved over 13 million crayons from landfills and brought art education to thousands of students in nine countries and all 50 states.
