The Mission of Centennial Academy is to provide educational equity through a relevant and rigorous STEAM curriculum to all of its scholars in an urban environment.
About This Cause
Located in the heart of Atlanta, Centennial is north of downtown and neighbors with world-class institutions. Our community unites around common educational goals. Centennial Academy believes in lifelong learning; for this reason, it is important to teach scholars how to learn rather than just what to learn. This belief is why learning opportunities for our teachers and parents are just as important as for our scholars. Centennial Academy is a conversion charter school in the heart of Atlanta educating scholars from Kindergarten through 8th grade. As a community school, Centennial Academy readily extends beyond its campus borders in strong partnerships with institutions of early and higher learning, industry, and social service that support a Pre-K to 8th-grade curriculum.
