Mission Statement
We are dedicated to providing funds to assist in the development and maintenance of a safe temporary shelter, providing for the daily needs of family members of hospitalized patients in Honduras and Guatemala. Above all, we are dedicated to excellent service and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. All of our activities will be accomplished with integrity, transparency and always with the spirit of excellence.
About This Cause
Casa David is a ministry in Honduras and Guatemala which serves the needs of family members of patients (and often patients) who are being treated at the government public hospital in a home like setting. With two homes and 65 beds, we provide temporary housing, along with two daily meals, a place to shower and to wash clothes to those who travel great distances to the three main cities (Tegucigalpa Honduras, San Pedro Sula Honduras and Antigua Guatemala) for treatment and have no where to stay. But mostly we provide an arm around a shoulder, a whispered prayer and the human kindness that people who are going through these hardships need most.
