Mission Statement
The Kennedy Performing Arts Boosters organization exists to support the activities of the students in vocal music classes at Kennedy Middle School in the Cupertino Union School District. Vocal music classes at Kennedy include Dynamics 6 and Dynamics 7/8, our two award-winning choirs, and our musical theater class, FAME. These ensembles have long-standing traditions of excellence. Our choirs regularly compete and travel, earning ratings at the highest levels of distinction as well as giving regular performances on campus and around our community. FAME produces two full musicals a year in addition to collaborating with other vocal music students on projects such as the Pop Show and Singing Valentines. Both Dynamics and FAME are inclusive of students at all ability levels and provide social enrichment for all members.
About This Cause
The Kennedy Performing Arts Boosters organization provides financial support to further the education and enrichment activities of the vocal music classes at Kennedy Middle School, a public middle school in the Cupertino Union School District. Educational support includes funds for music, textbooks, school-owned uniforms, risers, costumes, props, technical support for lighting and audio production, accompanist fees, contest fees, travel expenses, and many other supplies for day-to-day operations. Enrichment activities include the chance for all students to experience the expertise of clinicians and performance opportunities outside the range of what is provided by the school district.
