About This Cause

Butler County Alliance for Children was incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) on November 18, 2013. As of January 1, 2022, we will be doing business as: The Children's Advocacy Center of Butler County. As the children's advocacy center (CAC) for Butler County, Pa, our Center is a child-focused facility in which representatives from many disciplines work together to conduct forensic interviews and make team decisions related to cases of alleged child abuse. The CAC model, as related to child abuse intervention, is proven and effective. By bringing together trained professionals to investigate and provide legally-sound forensic interviews, medical and mental healthcare child victims and their non-offending caregivers receive support throughout the entire investigation, prosecution, and treatment process. Therefore, reducing trauma while holding offenders accountable.
