Mission Statement
Our mission is to open doors to the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for Oregon's youth by providing educational opportunities featuring robotics with special emphasis on maximizing the diversity of those participating.
About This Cause
In 2017, we served more than 6,000 students in Oregon. We uniquely combines core value concepts, such as Gracious Professionalism, into a learning environment that showcases attributes of robots as students participate in tournament game challenges and present project status. Our renewing and ongoing supporters, staff, and volunteers allow us to offer and sustain four outstanding FIRST Lego League robotics programs in Oregon: • Junior FIRST LEGO League - for students in grades K through 4 • FIRST LEGO League - for students in grades 4 through 8 • FIRST Tech Challenge - for students in grades 7 through 12 • FIRST Robotics Competition - for students in grades 9 through 12 We are a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
