Mission Statement
The mission of Libertas College Prep is to equip students in grades 4-8 with the academic skills and strength of character needed to thrive in and graduate from high-performing high schools and competitive colleges.
About This Cause
Libertas College Prep is an award winning charter middle school located in South Los Angeles, serving a population of primarily Latino/a and Black students. Libertas is a title 1 school and 95% of students qualify for free & reduced lunch. Libertas was designated a California Distinguished School in 2020 and 2021. Innovate Public Schools, a research group by the USC Price School of Public Policy, awarded Libertas a Top School for closing the achievement in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
