Mission Statement
The mission of Hope Springs Farm is to provide adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as autism a meaningful day through joyful group activities within the community and on a family farm setting.
About This Cause
Hope Springs Farm goal is to provide adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities a day program to maximize their abilities. “Growers”, as they are called, take part in various community activities including: volunteering in the local community, visiting local museums, swimming, taking field trips and shopping for the supplies they need to feed their animals or do their crafts. On the Farm, our Growers have a variety of farm chores: feeding their animals, cleaning up around the barn, planting, weeding and watering their gardens. They also learn a variety of independent living skills, such as cooking, baking and shopping.
