Mission Statement
Urban Street Angels provides basic human services to homeless youth in the San Diego, California area through a network of emergency shelter, supportive housing, rapid re-housing, and job skills training programs.
About This Cause
Urban Street Angels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 to address homelessness in San Diego, California. The organization currently operates with three primary areas of focus. First, we provide emergency shelter for up to 51 homeless youth each night in the downtown San Diego area. Second, we provide supportive and rapid re-housing for up to 76 homeless youth each night, in the downtown San Diego and East County areas. And third, we provide transitional employment and job skills training opportunities for homeless youth through our social enterprise programs like 8 West, Timmy's Cafe and Print Shop, and our trade school program.
