Eastside Lions is a non profit organization dedicated to growing healthy, responsible, young leaders through the sport of Rugby.
About This Cause
The Eastside Lions Rugby Club is based on the east side of the greater Seattle area and caters for boys and girls grades 1-12. The mission of the Eastside Lions Rugby Club is to mentor and develop character, sportsmanship and teamwork in young athletes through the wonderful game of rugby, and to help them become healthy, responsible young leaders. We have a devoted staff of high quality, certified coaches, athletic trainers, and a committed parent support organization. We partner with Atavus Rugby to offer professional coaching support and athletic training. The club is sanctioned by USA Rugby and Rugby Washington and competes against other clubs throughout Puget Sound and the state of Washington. We have multiple boys and girls teams catering for all ages and serve more than 150 players from the Greater Eastside including Clyde Hill, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish, Issaquah, Snoqualmie, Renton, Preston, Lake Forest Park, Montlake, North Bend, Fall City, Snohomish, Carnation, Bothell, and more. The Eastside Lions Rugby Club is a 100% volunteer-driven organization and was established in the spring of 2007 and is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization. We are very proud of our accomplishments as a club and the contribution our organization has made to our youth and society over the years.
