Mission Statement
The Capitol City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Abbey of the Divine Light exists to promulgate universal joy, expiate stigmatic guilt and provide public education.
About This Cause
We are part educators, part street performers, part human rights activists. In all things we seek to promote joy and combat the stigmas and guilt imposed by an intolerant society. We uphold a 'no-shame, no-guilt' policy and believe that every person has the right to live as their authentic self free from the condemnation of others. By public manifestation we encourage dialogue regarding matters of social justice, safe sex practices, encourage regular and frequent testing for sexually transmitted infections and promote prevention, management and treatment of HIV/AIDS and other STI's.
