Mission Statement
This charity focuses on tough issues of Isolation, Purpose, Health and Independence facing seenagers (seniors) and their caregivers. Isolation is one of the biggest causes affecting healthcare for seniors ...much more than obesity. Purpose is fundamental to health, healing and happiness. Nearly 90% want to “Age in Place”. This cause using online support resources and Village Concept addresses these issues in spades and touches nearly every individual, who is either a seenager (senior), or a caregiver now or will be one in future.
About This Cause
VillageCore’s mission is enable aging-in-place with support of local community and online resources, while tackling the touch challenges of isolation, independence, purpose and health. Vision is to support both seenagers and their caregivers to lead a vibrant life. VillageCore is doing that in a systematic fashion by: 1. Selling a fiction that shares the stories of seven seenagers and their caregivers that most everyone will relate to be. This book serves as a friend in solitude, guide for the journey and coach for planning. 2. It provides online resources for challenges that seenagers and their caregivers face such as: dressing with dignity, exploring home options, safety and security etc. 3. Building intergenerational connections for mutual learning: entrepreneurs and young tech minds join forces with senior wisdom and skills.
