About This Cause
API Forward has actively provided forums and educational leadership programs since 2015. We believe in a world where Asian American and Pacific Islanders have equal opportunities and are contributing to the well-being of their local communities. We believe and encourage positive collaboration with peers, corporations, nonprofits and government agencies is the best way to ensure a well-balanced, healthy social economic growth. Collaboration with cultural intersectionality cognizance is key to achieve maximum result in equity and productivity. Our signature program is the Forward Leadership Program, a 4-month long community project-based learning opportunity for undergraduate college students to gain hands-on leadership experience. Scholars who complete the program receive scholarship to help support their education and gives back to the community through volunteering. Help bring strong, diverse voices to decision-making and policy-making roles by supporting API Forward.
