To remove barriers to dance education and build community through dance.
About This Cause
Dance Project of Washington Heights provides pay what you can dance classes in Upper Manhattan to people age 0-Adult. Faculty and staff are diverse and reflective of the neighborhood, and all communications are bilingual Spanish/English. All children can participate regardless of socio-economic status - no one is turned away for inability to pay. Classes in ballet, tap, hip hop, break dance, musical theater, Latin dance, contemporary, Afro-pop, creative movement and more.
