About This Cause
AEquitas' staff is comprised of former prosecutors, with over 100 years of collective experience who conduct legal research; provide 24/7 case consultation; serve as instructors at training events and webinars; and publish resources.AEquitastraining resources, and assistance are informed by research and experience and provide customized strategies that are accessible, responsive, and easy to implement, resulting in allied professionals’ ability to sustain effective practices and promote systemic change. Since 2009,AEquitasand its staff, comprised primarily of former prosecutors, have worked closely with governmental and nongovernmental agencies to promote a contextual, rather than uniform, approach to the pursuit of justice for victims around the world. By promoting a deeper and more meaningful understanding of these cases,AEquitasand its network are dedicated to increasing successful adjudications and ultimately preventing future acts of violence.
