Mission Statement
Provide mentoring, guidance and support through the sport of boxing to at-risk youth in the inner-city Portland community.
About This Cause
The Knott Street Boxing Club focuses on school-age youth in the Portland area including Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington Counties. Current programming includes learning discipline, structure and self-respect through the sport of boxing. Hours currently are 5-7pm Monday-Friday and financing is for as many as 50 youths weekly. Many of these youths are of low socio-economic background and could not afford to be at the gym without financial assistance.
